This panel will discuss the corporate alternative minimum tax (CAMT), which was enacted in 2022 as part of the Inflation Reduction Act and became effective in 2023. The panel will focus on the notices the Treasury Department and IRS have issued to provide interim guidance before the issuance of proposed regulations, which are expected shortly. The panel will discuss issues addressed in the notices as well as other issues.
