Michael Hauswirth is a principal in Washington National Tax Mergers and Acquisitions group. His practice focuses on all aspects of partnership taxation. Immediately prior to joining PwC in 2013, Michael spent five years working for the U.S. Congress, first as Legislation Counsel to the Joint Committee on Taxation and then as Tax Counsel to the Committee on Ways and Means. Michael received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School
