Maryam Hatcher is Senior Counsel, Corporate Sustainability at Mars, Inc. and a 2024-25 JAMS Diversity Fellow. She regularly presents on sustainability and ethics topics and has also published several articles and a book chapter on related issues. Maryam has previously served as a member of the D.C. Bar’s Rules of Professional Conduct Review Committee, and currently chairs the D.C. Bar’s Attorney-Client Arbitration Board (ACAB). Maryam’s achievements include recognition as a National Bar Association 40-Under-40 awardee, and selection as a Rising Star in Environmental Litigation by the Washington, DC Super Lawyers. She is an honors graduate of Howard University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Howard Law Journal. Maryam lives in Washington, DC with her husband and son.
