George is Chief Litigation Counsel at Orange Business, where he supervises strategy and decisions in commercial, regulatory and employment litigation. He also serves as Head of Employment Law for the Americas and as the company’s global Ethics Advisor.

George worked in private practice at Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C. before joining Orange Business. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.

George is active in the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law. He is a member of the Section’s governing Council and he frequently speaks on a variety of topics at conferences. He is author of the Virginia chapter of Bloomberg BNA’s treatise, Employment At Will: A State-by-State Survey, and he serves as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar’s Corporate Counsel Section. George is a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, a member of the American Employment Law Council and a member of Practical Law’s Labor and Employment Advisory Board.

A native of Newport News, Virginia, George earned an A.B. in History from Princeton University, a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and a M.P.P. from the University of California, Berkeley’s Graduate School of Public Policy.
