Using a model case file, this session covers the various stages and components of a case and the myriad duties of a paralegal or legal assistant during a case. During this interactive session, topics covered include client interviews, investigations, pleadings, motions, exhibits, managing evidence, trial prep and post-trial briefings, among others. The session will focus on civil cases but will highlight a few criminal components.
