Tasha (TC) Cooper, Esq. is the Founder and President of UpwardAction Advisory, where she partners with organizations and legal professionals to navigate the responsible adoption, governance, and oversight of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. With more than 25 years of legal experience, including over 16 years in federal government as Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Agency Official for Privacy, she advised on the governance of emerging technologies and how AI systems intersect with the governance of personally identifiable information (PII), privacy, and organizational risk.

An ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Ms. Cooper works at the intersection of executive coaching, AI governance, and human intelligence. She is the creator of the Human Intelligence Value Mapping™ methodology, which enables leaders to identify and strengthen the uniquely human capabilities that create value alongside AI. She holds the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certifications from IAPP, is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, and is a graduate of Hampton University and Columbia Law School.
