Loren C. Ponds is a Member and Co-Lead of the Tax Policy Practice at Miller & Chevalier Chartered in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Miller, she served as Majority Tax Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means, where she developed, analyzed, and refined the international tax provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. She provides strategic counsel to clients on legislative, regulatory, and other tax policy issues, as well as advises on technical matters related to transfer pricing and other international tax topics. She has an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, and an A.B. from Davidson College.
