Wade Sutton leads the international tax practice in PwC’s national tax office in Washington, DC. Wade specializes in international and mergers and acquisitions tax and has significant experience with cross border acquisitions, divestitures, financing and restructurings. He also served in the Office of Tax Policy in the Department of Treasury, most recently as the Deputy International Tax Counsel. At Treasury, Wade worked closely with Congress, foreign tax administrators, the Internal Revenue Service and stakeholders to shape international tax policy, particularly with respect to the implementation of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the design of the Biden Administration’s Green Books and legislative proposals.
Wade is a member of the Bar in the State of New York and the District of Columbia. He has a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy, from Washington University in Saint Louis and a J.D., from Vanderbilt University Law School.
