Timothy (Tim) S. Shuman is the global head of McDermott’s Tax practice and is based in the Washington, DC office. He focuses his practice on corporate and international tax matters for US and non-US multinationals and large family offices, with particular emphasis on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings and liquidations. Tim also regularly counsels clients on international tax issues, including repatriation, tax basis, supply chain planning, principal structures, and foreign tax credit matters.
