Sarah Schaefer currently serves as Chief Tax Advisor for the Senate Finance Committee, where she has served under Ranking Member Wyden since 2017. Prior to joining the Committee, Sarah was a Tax Manager in the Subchapter K Mergers & Acquisitions practice at PwC. Sarah received a Masters in Studies of Tax Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from East Tennessee State University. Sarah is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia.
