Christoph Schelling is a Counselor and the Deputy Head of Economic, Trade and Financial Affairs at the Embassy of Switzerland in the United States of America in Washington D.C. Before that, he was the Head of the International Tax Division at the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance between 2010 and 2021. Further back, he worked in a number of capacities as a legal and tax counsel for the Swiss Federal Tax Administration, and for private employers in the corporate and advisory sectors. Mr. Schelling is a lawyer and admitted to the bar in Bern, Switzerland, and a holder of the Swiss Tax Expert degree.
