Deborah Tarwasokono is an attorney-advisor in the Office of Tax Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Deborah specializes in international tax matters, with a special focus on foreign tax credits, the corporate alternative minimum tax and OBBBA. Deborah also serves as a U.S. delegate to the OECD’s Working Party 11 which carries out the technical work on the Pillar Two global minimum tax. Prior to joining the Treasury Department, Deborah worked in the national office of EY in the International Tax and Transactions Services Group. Deborah received her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, with distinction.
