Dan Schumack, Esq. of Schumack + Guggenheim PLLC, defends lawyers against bar complaints in the District, Maryland, and Virginia and represents lawyers in fee dispute arbitration and litigation. Mr. Schumack has presented more than two dozen different ethics-focused continuing legal education classes for the D.C. Bar’s CLE Program since 2006. He is currently a member of the D.C. Bar’s Legal Ethics Committee, which publishes interpretive guidance on ethics issues and served as vice chair (2007 to 2009) and member (2004 to 2009) of the D.C. Bar’s Rules of Professional Conduct Rules Review Committee. He has served as a hearing committee chair (1998 to 2000) and hearing committee member (1994 to 2000) of the District of Columbia Board on Professional Responsibility.

Mr. Schumack is a 1987 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law, a member of APRL (the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers), and AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
