Laura Possessky is the Board Chair of DC Refers and represents the D.C. Bar as one of its five delegates to the ABA House of Delegates. An experienced leader in the D.C. legal community, she was President of the Women’s Bar Association and has served the D.C. Bar as its Treasurer and on its Board of Governors among other leadership roles. An advocate for innovative affordable legal services, she is a founding board member of DC Refers and has been involved with Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts for over 25 years. With over thirty years at the intersection of technology and content development, she is a Vice Chair of the ABA Task Force on Law and Artificial Intelligence and the Immediate Past Chair of the ABA Section of Science & Technology Law. Laura is Vice President and Assistant General for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
