Caterina Luppi is the Chief Information Officer of the District of Columbia Bar, the largest unified bar of the United States, since 2018. Prior to this role, Caterina held the IT executive role at several organizations, including the Pan American Health Organization and the American Psychiatric Association. In every organization where she worked, Caterina used technology to advance the mission, increase productivity, support the members, or help the public. Caterina moved to the United States in 2003 from Geneva, Switzerland where she worked at the European Center for Nuclear Physics (CERN) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Ferrara (Italy), and a PhD in Particle Physics from University “La Sapienza” in Rome (Italy).
