AI is shaping the practice of law and tax law specifically in a myriad of ways. Many areas of tax law presume that the focus should be on activities performed by humans. AI makes this presumption increasingly suspect, and perhaps will eventually make it completely invalid. This panel will consider whether it is or will soon be necessary to update the existing framework – considering examples such as nexus and value creation.
