Stephen Bonovich is the Vice President of Tax at OpenAI where he has worked for the last year and a half. Before that he was the Vice-President at Agilent Technologies, where he worked for 17 years. He has previous experience as Tax Counsel at Intel Corporation and Sun Microsystems. Before working in house, he worked at large firms in San Francisco. He graduated from University of California at San Francisco and has an LL.M from NYU.

Mr. Bonovich has published several articles in Tax Analyst and is a co-director the Silicon Valley Tax Director's Group with a focus on the impact of BEPS, Pillar 2 on the US - China technology race. In his spare time (before OpenAI), he liked to go on hikes and pilgrimages and is known to play a guitar.
