Description
The D.C. Court of Appeals recently amended several D.C. Rules of Professional Conduct. The first 60 minutes of this class will examine the changes to D.C. Rules 1.1, 1.6, 1.7, 1.16, 4.4, 5.3, 5.6 and comments, and specifically those affecting solo and small firm practitioners. Through disciplinary cases and ethics opinions the second hour of the class will explore common ethical traps and mishaps confronting small firm lawyers and ways to avoid them.
